About Me
Hi! I'm Alex. I've Been Building Websites For Over 6 Years!
I’m a Freelance Web Developer who loves working with WordPress—whether it’s building custom plugins, fixing tricky bugs, or making websites run smoother and faster. I’m all about creating accessible (WCAG-compliant) websites and integrating services like Stripe and Brego.io to enhance user experience. My goal? To build high-quality, scalable web solutions that help businesses and individuals succeed online.

STRIPE MODULAR
For the past 6 months, I received an assignment to integrate a solution for payment processing and subscription mangaement for WordPress. Initially, I tried what was already on the market in terms of plugins (profile builders, Stripe payment plugins…). There is no question that there are some really good plugins out there that can do a good chunk of what you want….but not everything. That’s why I’ve decided to build my own Stripe Integration for WordPress. The reason I called it “Stripe Modular” is that it will act as a plugin on which you will be able to install extensions to it; depending on what you need. Let’s say you only need to set up a simple payment for a product. There will be no reason to have everything at once; just staying there and do nothing with it.
It is still a WIP, but I will get there eventually…a WP plugin that will be able to do anything that can be done for Stripe.
My current projects
PERCEIVER
Perceiver is another of my creations. Built using Playwright, it’s purpose is to scrape a list of given URLs and to identify characteristics that could indicate that particular site is old. When I say old, I refer to small things such as deprecated HTML tags, outdated copyright year, if it’s mobile friendly, if (applying for WP) is using an older version.
At the moment, the best it can identify is issues on websites that uses PHP….WordPress especially. For now, I’ve parked it for now (got a lot of work…) but I do intend to increase it’s repertoir of features that could identify.
